Digital Fabrication and Rapid Prototyping:
Future possibilities for custom motorcycle building
This talk will introduce rapid prototyping technologies including 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC routing, and their application to custom motorcycle building, prototyping and repairing. These technologies will also be discussed in relation to the open-source and maker-space movements, and how these tools can aid knowledge exchange and 'maker' communities.
A 3D printer and hand-scanner will also be on display and demonstrated throughout the evening.
