Throttle Roll 2015

Man... what a weekend!

In it's third year running, Throttle Roll was bigger than the year before. Perfect weather for a massive ride through the National Park before 200+ bikes descended on The Vic to an even bigger display of motorcycles than we've seen to date. The range was huge and really inspired, the bands kept everyone upbeat and the tinnie bar kept us lubricated. This year we partnered up with Sol Invictus Motorcycle Co. to give away a custom Mercury we named the "Mercurial" to one lucky instagram user.

Event co-ordinator Mark Hawwa randomly picked a woman from the crowd to pick an image from the #solinvictusthrottleroll feed at 6pm sharp. Incredibly, it went to long time supporter and passionate contributor to the scene D'Arcy Rankine whose campaigning for the bike clearly paid off!

Overall it was a lot of fun to see many friends of Rising Sun Workshop past and present at what has become a key event in the moto calendar.

Last year we revealed the Harley Davidson "Hill Fighter", this year the Sol Invictus "Mercurial" who knows what will come of next year with our workshop in full swing?
