Hopes and dreams

To give us a little inspiration to share with you while we wade through the process of obtaining building permits and builders quotes, we asked recent Interior Design graduate (and supporter) Renata Estrela to knock up these renders for what we are planning for the space.

Please note: these are NOT an accurate representation but rather aim to give a feel of the place. The building has a great history and a lot of character which we want to keep and restore. We want the space to become yours through member contribution and the local community of coffee and food lovers as well. What's a home if you can't hang a photo (or wrench) on the wall, right?

THE WORKSHOP

We learnt A LOT from the pop-up space and took on everyones feedback when they saw the space. From those lessons your workshop will include:

  • 4 x workshop bays with hand tools, bench and hydraulic table lift
  • 1 x communal workbench with access to all tools
  • handwashing station
  • parts washing station
  • wi-fi and ipads (as donated by some very generous members)
  • helmet bays (We're looking at you lifetime members! We're thinking hand painted names in the bay)
  • small communal storage and parts share
  • library of manuals (donations welcome)

Workshop Hours: Mon-Sat 10am - 8pm Sun 10am-3pm

THE CAFE

The cafe is coming back with a vengeance. Daniel and Dimi will continue offering up quality coffee and baked treats (we know you're all missing that carrot cake), and Nick is heading up a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu that we will reveal closer to opening.

Like at the pop-up, this space will be light and bright, for anyone and everyone (not just motorcycle lovers) to enjoy quality coffee and food from the team, but also be more a part of the workshop so patrons have the option to view the communal workshop they're supporting.

Cafe Hours: Mon-Sun 8am - 10pm
